  • Attend industry and association events
  • Continually updated on current sales trends
  • Develop existing and future business relationships
  • Drive revenue through building relationships
  • Work with Front of House Managers and Executive Chef  to coordinate events
  • Manage “on-the-floor” activities, confer with guests and team members
  • Menu development
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events from start to finish
  • Negotiate prices and arrangements with clients
  • Draw up contracts
  • Coordinate with FB managers to organize necessary banquet, kitchen, and service staff and arrangements for each event.
  • Design and deliver appropriate catering menus by collaborating with clients and Executive Chef
  • Facilitate repeat and new business for catering functions and exceed the sales expectations of the Catering and Special Events Department.

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Catering or Special Events role.
  • Computer literacy to include: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Delphi & Opera a plus
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Solid client base and relationships within local community
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods

FOOD RUNNER / BUSPERSON

The primary responsibility of Food Runner is to assist the Server in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment and stock all wares and equipment needed for service.

POOL AND BEACH SERVER

The primary responsibility of the Pool and Beach Server is work primarily work on the beach and at Nautilus Cabana Club. The Pool/Beach Server will take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Collect payment and assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.

BUSPERSON

The role of the Busperson is responsible for clearing all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables and transport to tubs in bus station. Additionally the Busperson will wipes tables and chairs and clear debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding the table.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Accounting Manager is responsible for a range of financial, accounting, and auditing functions, and is essential to ensuring profitability. Duties frequently include working with a variety of financial data.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

At least three years of relevant experience.

Previous hotel and management experience is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

 

Knowledge:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Knowledge of accounting procedures, protocols, and approaches.

 

Skills:                

Basic computer skills – windows, word, excel.

Strong math and numerical skills.

Physical:

Often includes sedentary work, must be able to sit for long periods of time

 

Other: 

Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
